Finally Finished!

So I've been making this blanket for forever! I bought the squares at the flea market in Waikiki in July 2006. I finally got around to sewing the squares together in 2007. Then last night, Feb 5 2008, I actually finished the blanket!! I am so proud of myself. I've just been looking at it sitting next to our bed in our bedroom for months. It's been driving me crazy, so I finally got motivated! Oui-la!

Then, I had bought that towel and ribbon to make a hooded towel for a friend for her baby shower. Did I ever get around to it? NO! I know, I'm so lame. But, my next lucky friend who has a baby shower (and invites me!) will get it. It's my first hooded towel, so easy! And such a cute fun gift. I will be making lots of those.

Next on my list is to make a shopping cart cover. Doesn't look too bad either. Then? Give me some ideas ladies! (Tira & Shay, I know you've got some up your sleeves!)

    I love the blanket! It's so tropical and fun. Do you have a sewing machine? One of these days I want to make a fun blanket. Someday.

    brooke your so cute! I love the blanket. how did you make the hooded towel? thats a really great idea. Im terrible at crafts but maybe I could pull that one off.
