Christmas Edition of Getting-to-know-you!

Welcome to the 'Christmas Edition' of getting to know your family.
Tis the season to be cheerful!!!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping Paper mostly, but when needed, bags
2. Real tree or Artificial? REAL, of course!!
3. When do you put up the tree? As soon as Stephen allows me to put it up after Thanksgiving!
4. When do you take the tree down? After New Years usually.
5. Do you like eggnog? It's my favorite Christmas beverage! (Must be really cold too)
6. Favorite gift received as a child? White cowboy boots (80's style)
7. Do you have a nativity scene? Three of them: Willowtree, YW white one, and a cute small white ceramic one...who knows where it came from?
8. Hardest person to buy for? My dad and Derek
9. Easiest person to buy for? Stephen and my mom and Sienna & Chloe
10. Worst Christmas gift ever received? A pink bunnysuit!! (j/k)
11. Mail or e-mail Christmas card?. Mail for sure, with a picture
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Elf, it's hilarious; A Christmas Story, classic; Muppet Christmas Carol, I love to sing along, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? As early as possible...usually August
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I don't think I have...?
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Peppermint Bark, ANY cookie, truffles, plum bread (any bread really), See's candy, ham (random huh?)........can you see why I gain weight over the holiday's?
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Clear this year, although we usually do colors
17. Favorite Christmas song? "Song for a Winter's Night" by Sarah McLachlan, John Denver's Xmas songs, the Carpenters Xmas songs, Josh Groban's Xmas songs, Jewel's, etc. Basically all. Gesu Bambino, Little Drummer Boy, Silent Night.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? I prefer to stay home, although traveling might be fun to try someday.
19. Can you name Santa's reindeers? Yeah, but you know you I can too!
20. Do you have an Angel on top or a star? A beautiful gold star
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? One on Christmas Eve (tradition) and the rest on Christmas day
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? All the crowds in the stores and the need to have just family time and not getting enough of it.

So I got this in an email and decided to just post it on my blog instead. Easier, right? Can you now picture my Christmas a little better?

Brookie!!!!! Oh my goodness. How are you? I heard from my cousin Brooke that you guys were in the same ward. It has been soooo long since we have seen eachother. How are you? I see your family is growing. How many kids do you have? 2? Well I would love to see you some time when I am in town. I need your blog address so that I can add you to my list of friends. We need to catch up. I hope all is well.
