To all you antique lovers, artistically creative people and big shopping lovers....you must check out Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach. I've been there a few times, and it always seems better each time I go. This street is called the "design district" and is filled with fun boutique's with books, childrens clothes, antique decor for the home....almost everything except Tylenol. =) Below is a really cute little beach themed store that has probably EVERYTHING you might be looking for while decorating in that theme. What I especially liked it how a lot of the outdoor decor was specialized to places in San Diego, not just any beach town or place. There was also a mirror with large and small beautiful shells around the frame of it. Apparently the girl who owns the shop made it (as well, I'm sure, as the majority of everything else in the shop), and also made one identical to it for Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I'm guessing for the one they did in Encinitas last year. FUN!
Be sure to check out "Solo" if you like books. Even more so if you like books on decorating or history. It has an AWESOME card and notecard section, all very vintage-style as well as a kiddie section and a fun soap section. HEAVENLY smelling!
(PS- There is a small fashion show with refreshments and sales and raffle drawings at the large flea market, also on Cedros Ave, on March 20th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. I think I'm going to go, if you want to come just say so!)
