Buttons

The girls and I headed down to Rosie's in El Cajon for some fabric last week, and for the first time I noticed this chest full of buttons. I knew Sienna would like it so I called her over (really not thinking of what the consequences could be of such a choice). She finally mosied over and saw what I saw. She was in heaven! I let her run her grimey hands through the buttons, and I didn't feel bad at all! (What does that mean?)
She even walked away from the beloved buttons without a fight. I was shocked and very proud of her. Now you all know where to go if you need excess amounts of buttons. =)

I have never seen so many buttons, I would have totally joined little Sienna in digging my hands down into the buttons, how fun!

I harbor the slightest obsession with these little round delights. Remind me to tell you about my fruit buttons in kindergarten...If I swung down your way, would you take me? seriously.

That is so COOL!!! What is it about buttons that everyone loves? I'm sure if I took Lincoln there he would just try to eat them. He is orally fixated on everything!

I highly recommend a "button jar" . My Mother-in-law gave one to my kids and they love to play with them.. they are great for counting, making patterns and just creating! Go back and get yourself some! They are hours of fun and lots of learning!

Oh - I MISS ROSIES! How cute is your little one with the button bin - I got a little jar from walmart for a couple bucks like a candy jar - and filled it with buttons - and under close supervision by me - they can play with them at home - note: If I don't watch close - or I let Jeb supervise - the buttons become weapons - or choking hazards - just fyi ---
