We love our city!

Both Steve and I have lived in this city all of our lives, but there is SO much we still have not seen or experienced. We love to take drives together, so a lot of the time we end up exploring different areas of the city. On Saturday we saw on the internet that there was a huge rummage sale at the gymnasium in Balboa Park, so off we went. It was like the biggest garage sale you'd ever seen! I was in heaven. I found a lot of stuff I liked, but settled in buying just one thing: a beautiful embroidered vintage tablecloth...$7! I was very happy. It was SOO hot that day, so the gymnasium was ridiculously stuffy. Steve and I took turns being outside with the girls. They had a blast running all over the grass outside. Just down the way was Dogstock (like "woodstock"), basically a festival for your dog. So as all the dogs passed by, the girls barked at them and had fun watching them.

The trolley aided in the entertainment for a few minutes here and there.
Afterwards we headed down to Old Town, so fun! We walked around through the shops and the artisan fair they were having. Steve and I also love to drive around and look at homes. This one below Stephen wanted because of the fabulous tree. Yeah. He claims we MUST have several trees in our future home's front yard. JUST so you all know! =)
