The Bug is ONE!



I honestly cannot believe that it was only a year ago that sweet Chloe came into our lives. After 18 hours of natural labor (NO drugs) and nearly 4 hours of pushing, the girl decided that she still wasn't ready. Thus we were whisked off for an emergency c-section. Weighing in at 8lbs 7oz, she has never been small. She continues to be a big girl staying in the 97% percentile for height and weight!

And now she's ONE!

We had a small family party for her at La Jolla Shores beach/grass/park. Hamburgers, hot dogs and cake. YUM. My dad was awesome being the griller!

Chloe enjoyed her cake very much. It started out slow, and built up until she slightly stuffed it in her mouth. Still very dainty and girly, but she made me proud. (below)...she later ended up sharing the rest with Uncle Owie, which, obviously, he was very grateful for! lol.


Thanks to both of our amazingly AWESOME families for coming and making Chloe's first birthday so memorable. It was a lot of fun and we love you!

Chloe you are a doll and we are so grateful for you. You bring us so much joy and make us laugh unceasingly. Can't wait to keep watching you grow!

    Why didn't I realize our babies were like a day apart?! Probably cause mine still needed to bake for 3 1/2 more months?! Happy bday sweet, chubby Chloe!

    I'm really enjoying my pregnancy. The only thing that I'm not enjoying is my gigantic boobs. haha! I wish they were back to normal. Other than that, everything is great. I love being pregnant.

    I will have to look into the Bradly Method. I'm just so scared of labor! :P

    I'm due Sept. 4th. Only about 3 more months! I'm so excited....and nervous.

    I love my little Chloe! I was really bummed I couldn't go. She looked so cute eating her cake and I'm sure rocked the beach! Love you guys!!
