I realized lately that I really need to watch what I say around my daughter. Especially while I'm driving. I'm known to be a little bit of a road-rager...not so good! And it has already rubbed off on my dear darling Sienna.
As we were waiting at a light last week, Sienna yells, out of nowhere, "GO!" (with exaggeration on the "O") at the car in front of us. Hello? That's exactly what I'm constantly telling people when I drive! I still laugh whenever I think about this. Honestly, what do I say to her?...."only Mommy can say that!" That just doesn't seem right.
So it's quite clear that I need to harness and control my rage towards all those (pardon my frankness) retarded drivers out there! Stay out of my way so that I don't say things that I'll later hear my children saying!! Cause, of course, what comes out of my mouth isn't my fault while driving! =) Totally kidding.
PS- She did it again this afternoon on the way to the grocery store. EEK! I'm creating a monster....aka.road-rager!

Uh-oh! You are in TROUBLE!!
That's hilarious! It's always a shocker to hear your kid say something you say! LOL
and this is what I hear, "what the heck? what the heck momma?" ha ha hahaha hahah. Seriously though - don't you think "What the heck is this person doing?" when you're driving? Apparently I say it!
that is too funny! Lincoln already repeats EVEYTHING i say, and it is so scary! He says stuff like "oh, crap", and "awesome" all the time! At least I'm not cussing in front of him, I reserve that stellar language for after his bedtime, LOL! :) j/k
If you think about it, it could be a whole lot worse! She is just helping you get through the dumb drivers out there.
You know what they say, Like mother, Like daughter! She is still a doll!
That is SO funny! Pretty soon we'll have to start watching what we say in this house a lot more too. :)
I think she's right! ha ha
I've been correcting some of my bad driving habits for a while now but every so often, when I have to hit my brakes (I swear I don't say anything), Kalisi says very clearly from the back, "What an IDIOT! Right, mom?" ....nice.
I have had to be careful about what I say too. We noticed he was repeating what we say a few years ago. Ah the joys of parenting.
It's so funny to see kids pick up on thing like that... I love this photo of her, so beautiful.
They can be like little parrots. It always cracks me up when I hear the kids "disciplining" each other!
The older they get, the more you have to watch it! Believe ME.
