Neighborhood Delights

It certainly is a beautiful day, almost every day, in our neighborhood! Despite the attraction of the overcast skies most mornings, it usually ends up being mostly blue sky and sunlight! Which then yields what you see...
...happy kids playing outside. Our apartment complex is awesome like that. Since they prioritize families with children, there are loads of kids everywhere, of all ages. Our neighbor's, the Seiberts, have a son Max (pictured)...then below them is Marcelle, then Sadie up the grass. There are so many fun play buddies!

At the end of just about every day...you will find frazzled mothers ready for daddy to come. So off we go outside to wait. Even if the daddies are not on their way home, the sanity is needed, as well as adult conversation. So out we go! But it not only gives us our sanity back for a moment, it helps me to remember and see how fun my children can be when they're not stuck in an apartment all day! I love those little monkeys!!

That sounds like so much fun, I wish we didn't so many mosquitos otherwise I would be doing the same thing!

Cutest kids ever!
I saw your mom at a baptism on Saturday. She is beautiful just like you. It was fun to chat with her.
By the way, I love Stephen's hair. He looks like a surfer boy.

I miss living in an apartment complex for that reason. But we do love having our own backyard. Can't wait to see you in July!

I love that you added Mr. Rodgers song "Neighbor" It adds to the whole effect of your post! Then the "Strawberry Fields" I best try a little harder to work at the logistics of music on my blog!

Cute! I wish I lived in a place that had a playground or a bunch of fun moms to play outside with kids with. It certainly would make that late afternoon waiting for daddy to come home time go by quicker! You are lucky!
