F I R E P R O O F

No, no...I'm not talking about emergency preparedness. Or maybe I am. Preserving marriage is more than worth-while. It is vital to our Heavenly Father's plan for us.

My sister-in-law, Robin, and I went out Saturday night to see the movie, "Fireproof". Despite the cheese-factor (way up there) and some bad acting, it was SUCH a great movie with an incredible and important message. I was very touched. Kirk Cameron is the lead character in this movie, which is the first thing I've seen him in since "Growing Pains". The movie is about how he tries to repair his on-the-verge-of-broken-marriage.

I highly recommend this movie to ANYONE who is married. Even if your marriage is "perfect"....RIGHT! Please see it! Thanks for going with me Robin. It was so therapeutic bawling our eyes out for half the movie. =)

cute! I have been wanting to go to a movie- maybe I should have Hyrum take me! Is it too cheesy for him?

I saw Kirk Cameron on the Today Show and was so impressed by him. He has SIX kiddos and because he stays committed and monogomous with his wife, he has her come to the set, dress like the female lead, and in the kissing scenes it's actually his wife he's mooching; he's not getting it on with some actress. I thought that was so sweet in staying true to oneself in Hollywood! Unheard of! So I'm glad the movie was as great as he portrayed it to be.

I definetely want to go see that. And you're so right, no marriage is perfect. Marriage takes work everyday, and every second is worth it!!! It's good to know that it is worth seeing, thanks!
