This weekend we took a nice long drive on up to Julian to pick some delicious, organic apples! I had no idea you could do this in San Diego, let alone so locally. I was so excited to pick and eat apples, so off we went! Our good friends, the Seibert's, led the way and taught us the correct way to pick apples from an orchard...1. Pick an apple. Put in bag....2. Eat an apple, or two, or three (maybe even four, five and six if you're Max Seibert)....3. Start process over. Sienna had so much fun running through the orchard with Max picking random apples. Chloe was more content walking with mommy (you could also call it "whining" with mommy). Only mommy wasn't doing any whining. So really, Chloe whined. There. =)
Max with his "cheesey" smile. Classic.

At one point there were TONS of black birds (crows, I think) flying overhead in a funny random pattern back and forth. I think they were playing in the wind. It was very windy that day. Chloe is obsessed with birds lately, so this entertained her for quite some time.
"I all done Mom," says Sienna
(above) I love this picture of Nina at work. She really is so good!
(below) Sienna and Max were so cute holding hands at one point. Nina and I loved how Sienna looks like she should be the guy in the couple from behind.
Daddy digging deep to find Mommy some of the last Granny Smith apples. He did get one, but it wasn't very appealing. Toss. Chloe clearly loves her view!
We had a blast!!!!! That will now be an annual tradition. So far on our list this year to check off: Strawberries, apples.....to do? PUMPKINS!!!
