Choo-choo Balboa!

Tuesday.
Balboa Park.
Kiersten & London.
Us.

After playing (and fighting over fake fruit and vegetables with other kids)at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center for a while, we headed over to the Railroad Museum. Also free entry that day. I'd never been inside. It brought back memories of my grandpa and his collections of old train tracks with their respective trains. The girls all got so excited whenever they saw a train actually moving! Screams (VERY high-pitched), laughs and squeals. People were visibly happy when we would move somewhat farther away, thus saving their hearing.

Later, we stumbled upon the Lego railroad and buildings area. SO cool. You have to know, that I grew up playing with Legos. My first swear word was uttered over my precious lego home that was destroyed by younger brother "D"...who stole the main piece for his lego empire (sidenote: he blackmailed me for 2 months after that...yeah!).

Somewhat shocking but very amusing are the cows in the pasture...

I love both of those museums. Every time we are in town we try to make it to those museums because they are so fun!

We took Emily there when we were down there for your wedding. She loved the train museum. The operators laughed as they watched this little 2 yr old running around yelling, "All Aboard!"

I don't remember legos though.
