speak spanish?
in case you don't...the title of today's post radiates the gender of the baby bump i've got goin' on. yes!!! azul in spanish is blue....which means it's a boy!!!! we are beyond excited and of course, i've already started looking for the cutest baby boy clothes that exist. we are all very, very excited. even chloe, who up until that day had been claiming her desire for a little sister.
yes, i am only thirteen weeks along, so it's pretty amazing that we know what the baby is already. my awesome doc, dr. biter was doing an ultrasound and asked if i wanted to know the sex of the baby. a resounding YES echoed the room. i was shocked that he thought he could tell already, and as soon as he shifted the ultrasound gizmo i could see it. you know.....it. it was really pretty obvious. he even double-checked a few times for me. i didn't want to get all super excited about it unless he was pretty sure, and he said that he was. yipee!!!
dr. biter also delivered chloe, so i was ecstatic to learn that he took my less-than-lovely insurance. he's just such a wonderful person. i'm so blessed to have a caring doctor.

on another note, apparently poor sienna did have strep throat last week. the initial strep culture isn't 100% accurate, so they usually always send it to the lab to be further tested. well, he said that if i didn't hear anything that we were clear. so after four days of nada, i figured it was just a virus. but last night sienna started running a temperature again, poor girl. and now she's congested and coughing a lot. so she's finally on antibiotics and will hopefully be able to enjoy her birthday this week! she's turning FIVE! when did i get old enough to have a five-year-old? i honestly can't believe it. she'll start kindergarten in the fall too. sigh!

YAY! Congrats! There really are a lot of cute boy things out there, you just have to search...I asked Tira Pugmire for advice and she said Old Navy, Target, and Baby Gap. I've had good luck there as well!
Oh my goodness! So exciting! That's going to be one darling little blonde-haired boy. Hope you're feeling ok.
Yay for a little boy! I think girls are nice too, but having both is the best of all.
YAY FOR BOYS! I only have boys but from what I've seen from friends that had girls first, your girls will be his little extra "mommies" and when he gets around 18 months he'll know how to torture them back! :)I am so excited for you!
Oh my goodness I can't believe Sienna is five! That's cool that you got Dr. Biter again, did he get back at Scripps or is he elsewhere? So very very excited for your baby news!! :)
