my friend's hubby has the most hilarious website selling all kinds of awesome soaps, ranging from grenades (my fav) to soap knuckles.  it's pretty awesome, i must say.  looking for that perfect father's day gift?  i'm thinking this is the answer for me!

calling san francisco!

my good friend nina will be up in the san francisco area- specifically, on u.c. berkeley's campus- this coming weekend.  i'm not sure if she's booked up the whole day yet, but i thought i would put this out there for any persons wishing to have some holiday photos taken of the fam!  nina does great work and has taken most all of our family photos since we met in 2007.  i will be joining her and will be taking photos myself, with no extra charge.  contact nina if you're interested!  i'd love to see any of my nor-cal friends!

today i'm putting a plug out for my favorite pizza joint in our locale.  regents pizzeria is a blessing.  truly.  their food, not just their pizza, is just so very delicious.  they home make their own pizza dough, which has been tested and tried.  they even make their own sauce (no sugar added to the tomatoes!)!  they also use an imported italian oven, which comes from famous treviso; a place famous for their amazing food and wine.


 to your right you will see one of my favorite pizza's that they make.  it's the chicago stuffed-crust pizza.  oh my gosh, it is good! 

also good are their sandwiches, garlic bread knots, new york-style pizzas and....well, everything!  if you live close to la jolla they might even deliver to your neighborhood.  give them a call and get some.  or come over to our place and we'll have some together!  we can even walk across the street and eat there.  what a treat!

Urban Birdie

Truly, I thought it an impossible feat to get a good or even a decent picture of Chloe Tuesday. But once again, Nina proved me wrong. She worked with Chloe and brought out the cuteness that mama certainly was unable to bring out. Thank GOODNESS for Urban Birdie Photography.

Lovely magnetics

My crafty sister-in-law, Katie, made me this very handy magnetic board recently. She sells all kinds of fun items she makes on her Etsy shop. She surprised me one day telling me she wanted to just make me one. I'm never one to turn down free, cute crafty things. She even let me pick out the pretty paper! I am SO happy with how it looks!!

I like how rustic it looks. Made some quick magnets to go along with it, and oilla! Look how lovely it looks on my mid-kitchen wall. Perfect!
