Tuesday at the Fleet!

This was SO much fun! A few girls from my ward (Tiffany! Mariah! Lani!) and my good friend, Michelle, and I met up at Balboa Park with the kids. Every Tuesday they have a few museums that have free entry. So we try and take advantage of them! This last Tuesday there were 4 or 5 free, but we stuck mainly to the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center (where the IMAX theater is!). It's all hands on stuff that is SO fun to play with and figure out. I've gone throughout the years growing up, but now I get to take the girls and let them play around. Upstairs they have a special kiddie area for tots that is really cool. There are all kinds of fun interactive toys....it's Sienna-heaven!

This is my AWESOME friend Michelle with her two little boys, Cohen and Garrett, checking out the tornado thing. You can alter it's winding pattern by blocking the air holes.....

...then Michelle walking through tons of tiny pebbles testing her ability to walk "fluidly" and trying to make as little noise as possible to see her score. It actually scores you. We did OKAY....

...FINALLY happy and out of their strollers playing with this cool machine that sucks the balls up into the tube and shoots them straight up to fall back onto them (by the way, if you're wondering why Sienna has a HUGE t-shirt on her, she spilled a huge bottle of chocolate milk all over her tanktop 20 minutes earlier, so she got an early 3rd birthday t-shirt, since that's when it will fit her!)...

Anyone wanna come with? PLEASE DO! It's a blast. Next Tuesday the free museums are: Museum of Photographic Arts, Museum of San Diego History, and the Veterans' Museum and Memorial Center!
