Bathtub Sneakiness

I was running around the apartment doing stuff the other day, Stephen was home too. I was putting toys away, picking up and doing mommy-like stuff. I suddenly realized that I didn't know where Chloe was. I called out her name to see if she would come crawling over or if she would squack back. No answer. So I started doing room scans to see where she was. Then I saw that the door to the bathtub was open (yes, our bathtub and our toilet are in seperate "rooms", if you will, of our bathroom section. Again- built in the 70's, probably for roommates). It must've just made her day that she made it over there not being seen and was able to climb
into the bathtub! I was very surprised that she was able to get in by herself. The kid is only 9 months old! I think what surprised me more than that was that she didn't hurt herself while doing so. The bathtub was still wet from me taking a shower. If she's lucky she avoided freshly shaven leg hairs! No bumps, no bruises, no crying, no screaming. Just pure glee on her cute round little face. Of course the minute I walk in she starts clapping....so proud of herself! I had to let her sit there and enjoy her triumph for a good minute or two. I laugh writing this cause it really was so cute and funny. Love my bug!

Cute! That's so funny that she climbed into the tub by herself and was so happy about it. Kirsten learned how to climb our stairs yesterday, and she was really happy about that too. Such a funny age they're at!

How cute is that face??? At least she's not one of those who avoids the bathtub. Clean happy baby girls are the best!
