Love That Show!

I cannot help but get so emotional every SINGLE time I watch this show. I am constantly overwhelmed by the love and generosity that is shown. Every week I walk away wanting to be a better person and to do nothing but serve others. Some day I want to be able to help during one of these makeovers!
Tonight's show was incredible, dedicating 2 hours to a wonderful man who served in the Marines in Iraq, lost a leg and came home to raise his four children by himself. I was in awe of his faith and perserverance. It reminded me that I need to be a lot more grateful for the wonderful country that I live in and for all the freedoms I should not take for granted. I love the USA!

I love that show too! I always cry, more now that I'm pregnant. Did you see the one where they had a mormon family from Idaho? That was pretty cool.

I didn't see that one, but I'm with you on the tear-jerker thing. McKenzie came to me yesterday and said, "I want to be on extreme makeover home edition." I guess she really doesn't get it that you have to be down & out and have a real sob story to make the cut! I guess she doesn't like our home...maybe I need to teach her a lesson about gratitude.
