this is what i call nasty. some might call it beautiful (stephen would). he has been donning this for a week now. i immediately begged him to make it go away, which he did not. the flavor saver i don't mind so much at all. that can stay. in fact, i like it. but the 'stache? it's not even a full thick mustache, but i really don't like it. he wants to be a musketeer again....yes, this would be only his second time in our marriage...not to mention he ruined my pretty knitted blue scarf last year for his costume...and i'm pretty sure he did it a few times while growing up. shall i restate that? i'm pretty sure he did it a few times while attempting to grow up. there! that sounds a little more correct. the only difference back then was that he and his buddy, scott, drew mustaches on their faces with permanent marker. i tried to nix the idea of musketeering it up this year. we'll see if my heavy suggestion sticks. wish me luck people!

Spencer has the full mustache and goatee right now and I hate it! I can't wait for Halloween to be over so he will shave it off.
Just tell him you won't kiss him if he has it...or better yet, with hold other things ;) Okay, that's mean, I know. But you can threaten!
Oh jeeze, ya'll are babies! :) Have you SEEN Bryan's jungle of hair? I actually think he looks way better with it than without it. I guess it all depends on preference. Once men's facial hair gets to a certain length, it's actually pretty soft and no longer stubby/pokey.
PS SO JEALOUS you've already thought of costume ideas. My pregnant brian can not string together anything fun or imaginative this year. My poor boys may or may not just 'wear' a trash bag, and go Trick O Treating as bags of trash. Oh, how awful!
Okay, so I couldn't help it. This was the first thing that popped into my mind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdgFisYCPHs.
charlotte- you are CRACKING me up! that video was hilarious.
um, have you seen darling husband's brother Michael? Mountain Man full of hair. ON FACE. He cares not that every member of this household does NOT like the prickly beard. MEN. It must make them feel...MAN-ly. UGH
