i was at balboa park today taking pictures of some super cuties. as i was walking back to my car, i saw this. oh. my. green! i love green, and living in san diego, it's not something you see very often. sad, but true. everything is dead here. partly due to drought, partly due to heat. so, to be walking along and spot this made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. aww...i know. it made me want to camp out under the tree like frodo might and just sleep there, barefoot. the grandeur of the trees and the green grass is just so inviting. i noticed there were quite a few homeless folks camped out around in the region of these trees. i think i'd do the same thing.
