here's how it's done:

1.  concentrate real, real, real hard.

2. make sure to lick the knife after every frosting application (per chloe).  sometimes lick completely clean each time dipped into the frosting, thus not allowing any to get on the cookie, only in your mouth.  hence, we won't be gifting any of you cookies this christmas.

3.  smooth it ever so beautifully.  be sure to use those forefingers, as sienna does.

the finished product?  cookies with a little frosting, an mounds of sprinkles.  mmm....

very important...while cleaning up, be sure to lick every millimeter of the frosting spoons completely and utterly clean.  don't you dare leave a smudge on that spoon!

if you must, lick it like an ice cream cone.

then, lastly, admire your 32 jars of jam previously made.
