Chloe is 6 1/2 months old and was thus summoned to Mt. Wanna-get-lots-of-shots (6 in total)! We thought putting on her"Santa's Nice List" shirt would help soften the blow of the nurses wrath. We were wrong! Actually, she did really well. She was an angel up til the second the needle was in and then once they were done she was over it. Thank goodness for mommy (and Sienna seeing that it started freaking her out). It really doesn't get me upset to see her cry for shots, although I feel bad for her. (I used to give shots to babies and young kids a lot back in the day, so it's not too bad for me! )
By the way, if anyone knows anything more about the oral shot (Rotavirus Vaccine), I'm interested in knowing more about it and whether it is really necessary or even at best, all that precautionary. (probably should've done more research before she finished her third dose!)
You can even see how tensed up she got. She was a trooper though! Even Sienna ended up getting her flu shot. We thought of you RJ and Madison. It's okay to get it! Even I'm going to!

Poor baby girl! I HATED it when my kids had to get their shots. They would look up at you with these sad eyes like, "Mommy, why are you letting them hurt me?" So glad those days are over. By the way, those chubby thighs are adorable! Can I come nibble on them sometime?
I just want to squeeze those baby legs!!! Sorry Brooke, Chloe is really starting to look like Stephen! What a good girl for being so brave.

How do you not just eat Chloe up? What a yummers! As I held little Vivie down for her five massive 6 month shots (even though she was the size of a 3 month old) I just kept singing to her and then reminding her that "it's not me torturing you!" Good thing little babies just don't remember & are so forgiving of cruel things like shots!
Ouch! I am glad she calmed down easily! When Bree got her 2 month shots she did the same thing...screamed and then it was over and she stopped! I agree with Rachel...Chloe is really looking like Stephen! She is a cutie!
I love that little shirt shes got on. Brooke you have to be the cutest mom ever. Olivia got really sick with her six month shots. I am seriously contemplating never giving her shots again. I hate the darn things. Your little chloe is a doll. someday our two little chubby girls need to meet. But Olivia might be self conscientious because she still has no hair and Chloe has already had her first haircut.
Brooke, I can't believe you took pictures of Chloe getting her shots! You really do blog EVERYTHING! Poor baby girl!
