Sea World

The beginning of our tale begins with Chloe falling asleep while I am doing her HAIR! Yeah. I have never had that one happen before. I noticed as I was brushing her hair at the top for the typical palm tree, that she was nodding off. I wasn't really sure though so I kept going. Sure enough, she passed out as I was putting the rubberband in. Crazy! I had to get a pic, and luckily my camera was sitting on the bathroom counter already.

This was the girls look on their faces while in one of the aquariums at Sea World. I think this one was next to Cirque de la Mer. They look pretty thrilled, don't they? I thought so too. Sienna did eventually get excited about the "shishies" and pointed out several to me. (by the way, the pic of the tank above HAS fish in it I swear! For some reason, I was just looking at couldn't find one!)
(below) Sienna was beyond excitement as we came to the smelliest part of the park. Yep, the lovely flamingos. She just loves these birds so much. I was amazed that she wasn't battling her way out of the stroller at this point. And the water bottle next to her? Chloe's usual toy.

We always love going to this little interactive tidepool near that last mentioned aquarium. Usually there are a ton of starfish, but that day there were very few. My friend Cari told me that it was due to the cold weather we had been having previously, so maybe they'll put more in soon! It's warming up a little more (except for today!).
This is one of best friends, Cari, with Chloe at the tidepools. She has been working there for about 4 years, I think....right Cari? We love going to SeaWorld cause we have our own personal tourguide. She knows EVERYTHING about all the animals and takes me to see all the "cool stuff".

My two very amazing friends! Cari and Michelle (with Cohen and Garrett hiding somewhere in the pic) posing for the obsessive picture taker! I love these women so much! They are so amazing in all that they do.

No matter what I did, I could not get Sienna to touch the bat rays. Last time we went she was all over it. I had fun feeling them though! So slimey. Truly. It felt like there was about an inch of slime. Some of them were getting pretty exciteable in trying to escape their little pool. It was very amusing to watch. It scared Sienna and Cohen a few times.

At the end of the day, Sienna was quite tired and very ready for a nap! Hooray! She was such a good girl though. In fact, that was the best she has behaved at Sea World ever. Here's to hopin' for next time!

Wow, so many fun pictures! I love Sea World. I took Kirsten last summer, but she was less than three months old so she wasn't too impressed. Next time I'm in San Diego, I want to come!

Cute little Chloe, I can't believe she actually fell asleep mid hair-do!
And David and Ethan have had the very same facial expressions as Sienna and Chloe when we've looked at the fish tanks before too.
Looks like it was a fun day!

Sea World is the one place we haven't been since living here. That will change this year, though! Do you have passes there too? You're everywhere, girl! :)
