Budding Artists

So, I decided to not care about posting these in order. So you get to see my sweet painters post-painting. I thought it would be fun to buy a canvas just for the girls to paint on. I bought it about 4 months ago, but never got around to it. So I finally bought the paint and covered the patio with our emergency tarp. So glad I did, cause the bubbles loved it!

Chloe discovered that Mommy didn't care if she painted on herself, so she took full advantage of that. I even helped her! What I thought was funny, was the "paint clothes" I put on them hardly had one drop of paint on them. Every other part of their bodies, uncovered, has something decorative on it. So it happens!

Sienna definitely favors the circular strokes method. Always painting in circles and mixing all colors placed on the canvas.

so fun. did you use acrylic paint? did I miss something or is there no finished product picture of the canvas? Great idea, I'll definitely steal that one and have the boys do it too =)

So fun! I would love to do it with d and e, but I'm nervous they would take off and get paint on my parent's patio posts, or the ground, or the fence...oh who am I kidding? They would get it EVERYWHERE!!
