i love old photos. i love them even more when they are of my own family. perhaps even a little more when there is a tinsel-infested christmas tree, striped walls and a fringed lamp in the backround. just so much texture to look at and fun imagining being there. this is my mother's father, eugene whitaker. he was quite handsome, and very smart. i will always miss him.
i'm guessing that this was my grandparents car at one time. not sure. but i love those bulky old stationwagons. if i'm ever able to have my own, i will, gosh darnit!
i'm not exactly sure who these sweet ladies are. i'm thinking that the one in the middle is my grandpa eugene's mom. is that right? but i will be ordering some of that sweet eye-wear as soon as i can. that's what i would choose to look like in my old age, yes, it's true. natural and old. i don't want to look 50 when i'm 80. no plastic surgery for me, thanks.

so cute brooke. i will be happy to be the old lady at your side. no plastic surgery for me either. other than what i've already had done of course.
I think you're right, the middle one looks like Nellie Woodruff. Speaking of old photos, do you have any of the Whitaker cabin?
I LOVE that picture of Grandpa! I've never seen it. Next time we come over, I'll have to take some of your photos you have of their family.
Look at all that hair on grandpa! Wow.
Pretty sure I saw that last photo on a Hallmark card! Love, Cheryl
you look a lot like your grandpa!
I love that picture of Grandpa too. I have never seen it before. I love the ladies too. I think you are right too about that being Nellie in the middle.
